Additional Hormone Panels

Comprehensive Thyroid Panel

Thyroid hormones regulate metabolism and influence nearly every organ system, signaling how fast or slow the body should function. They also control the body’s oxygen use and heat production. Conditions such as an overactive or underactive gland can significantly disrupt metabolism, making proper evaluation important. Our program includes comprehensive thyroid testing of the gland and thyroid hormones, including TSH, thyroxine (T4), and triiodothyronine (T3). When hormone levels are too low, the body uses energy more slowly than it should, a condition known as hypothyroidism. Customized medications are available to treat hypothyroidism.*

Complete thyroid panels include the following tests:

  • TSH Free T4
  • Free T3
  • Reverse T3
  • Thyroid Peroxidase Antibody (Anti-TPO)
