THE AGE DEFYING CLINIC
Rejuvime Medical empowers people with the knowledge needed to take charge of their health by offering low-cost blood testing with an emphasis on tests that focus on hormones, nutrition, metabolic disorders, and preventable disease. Patients who request blood testing at our Baton Rouge and Denham Springs centers will have the opportunity to review their results with one of our PAs. Our goals are to provide access to affordable blood testing, compounded “quality of life” medications, treatment plans, and physician support.*
All Rejuvime Medical patients start with a consultation and a Comprehensive Hormone and Wellness Panel blood analysis followed by a lab review and evaluation performed by one of our PAs.
The Comprehensive Hormone and Wellness Panel for Women will provide a baseline overview of your sex hormones, thyroid gland, adrenal function, metabolic function, and overall health. This hormone panel can be used to diagnose testosterone and estrogen deficiency, health risks, and potential thyroid dysfunction prior to initiating hormone replacement therapy. It also includes information about hematocrit (red blood cell volume), and liver and kidney function.*

Thyroid hormones regulate our body’s metabolism and influence virtually every organ system in the body. They tell organs how fast or slow they should work. Thyroid hormones also regulate the body’s consumption of oxygen and production of heat. Thyroid problems, such as an overactive or underactive thyroid, can severely affect metabolism. There are several thyroid conditions you may want to be aware of. Our program includes comprehensive testing of the thyroid gland (TSH) in addition to the thyroid hormones, thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). When the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormone, the body uses energy at a slower pace than it should. This condition, underactive thyroid, is called hypothyroidism. Customized medications are available to treat hypothyroidism.*
