Meet Lacee May, FNP. One of our Medical Providers at our Metairie, LA location.

My name is Lacee May. I am a family nurse practitioner and I have been here at Rejuvime going on five years now. Well, I graduated from nursing school at Our Lady of the Lake College and went back for my bachelor’s and my master’s degree and got my nurse practitioner at Southeastern Louisiana University. What’s gotten me so interested in Rejuvime and doing this line of work is really helping people be their best. Not necessarily fixing something that’s broke, but helping you feel and look better than you ever have, and just the satisfaction that patients have from their treatments and how they’re doing. I really do love our consults and our consult time. I love education. I love helping you understand your body, understand your hormones, and understand the way that you’re supposed to feel. Rejuvime actually cares about not only the way that you feel, but also about your health. So we like to make sure that your health is first and foremost priority and that we’re going to give you all your options to where any treatments that we do, you’re gonna do safely and effectively. So if you’re interested in our services here  at Rejuvime Medical, I would love to see you. So just come in for some lab work and a consultation and we can talk about your options.

Low libido can affect confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. While stress, lifestyle, and emotional factors all play a role, one of the most common and often overlooked causes is hormone imbalance. When hormone levels are out of sync, both men and women may notice changes in sexual desire and performance . Understanding Libido and Hormones Libido, or sexual desire, is a complex process influenced by the brain, body, and emotions. Hormones act as the body’s chemical messengers, controlling everything from mood and metabolism to reproductive health. When hormone levels shift too high or too low, they can disrupt sexual desire. The three most important hormones connected to libido are testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. Each one influences sexual health differently, but all three work together to maintain balance.
