Dr. Jonathan Weiler, founder and medical director at Rejuvime, discusses Hormone Replacement Therapy for women.

The dreaded change, right? Maybe you’ve heard your mom or your grandmother talk about it. Women that are having to suffer through menopause. Well, not anymore, now there’s something that can help. I’m with Dr. Jonathan Weiler, founder and medical director at Rejuivime, to tell us more. Hey, Dr. Weiler.⁣ Hello. Okay, hormone replacement therapy. First tell us what is it? Otherwise known as HRT, otherwise known as bioidentical. So women, they go through menopause, very dramatic. One day you’re menstruating, a few months later it stops, dramatic drop. Women lose estrogens and testosterone. Okay, what are some of the symptoms that you’re helping combat? Weight gain, hot flashes, memory loss, loss of hair, sexual issues. There’s a whole host of issues. You are going from someone who’s thriving and producing hormones, to all of a sudden it all stops. And this is an issue that’s really at the forefront these days. So how do the hormones help? How do they work? We’re replacing what you’ve lost. You’ve lost your estrogens and your testosterones. Women need both, very important. And so we go in, there’s multiple ways to do it, oral, topical, injectable, or little pellets. And is it safe to take the rest of your life? It is very safe, you have to be monitored there. We’ll discuss some risks. There’s some very minor risk associated with it, and we’ll monitor those and watch you. But it is a wonderful way to continue living your life. It’s not over yet. We deserve that game changer. Absolutely, absolutely. Thanks, Dr. Weiler. Ladies, if you’re interested in having your hormones checked, go to rejuvimemedical.com.

Low libido can affect confidence, relationships, and overall well-being. While stress, lifestyle, and emotional factors all play a role, one of the most common and often overlooked causes is hormone imbalance. When hormone levels are out of sync, both men and women may notice changes in sexual desire and performance . Understanding Libido and Hormones Libido, or sexual desire, is a complex process influenced by the brain, body, and emotions. Hormones act as the body’s chemical messengers, controlling everything from mood and metabolism to reproductive health. When hormone levels shift too high or too low, they can disrupt sexual desire. The three most important hormones connected to libido are testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. Each one influences sexual health differently, but all three work together to maintain balance.
